Contracts

Your housing contract is a legal and binding agreement between you and the University. We strongly encourage you to read it and be familiar with it. Your contract outlines your responsibilities as a UCR Housing resident. Please note that this Resident Handbook is considered a legally binding extension of your housing contract. All residents have the responsibility to read and follow the policies and procedures contained in the Resident Handbook. UCR Housing staff are more than happy to assist you with any questions you may have concerning your contract or the Resident Handbook.

All funds required for the operation of Housing Services facilities and programs are obtained from room and board fees, and summer conference income. Housing Services receives no funding from federal, state, or University resources. Housing Services is committed to keeping rates as low as possible without compromising the quality or integrity of its facilities and programs.
