Assignments

The Resident Assignments team makes every effort to accommodate your requests, please remember that preferences stated in your contract such as building, room, hall, and roommate(s), cannot be guaranteed. Most unfulfilled requests are due to requests exceeding availability. If you have questions regarding your assignment, please contact Housing Services, (951) 827.6350.

SUBLEASING
Subleasing, transferring possession, or giving accommodations to any person not assigned by Housing Services is not permitted in Glen Mor. Noncompliance is grounds for eviction.

TRANSFERRING
Current Glen Mor residents who wish to transfer from one apartment location or style to another at Glen Mor or at another on-campus housing community must submit a request to Housing Services, as well as a new housing application with associated waiting period. Residents are required to occupy their current apartment for a minimum of six (6) months before they may be considered for a community transfer.

Current Glen Mor residents who wish to transfer from one bedroom location to another within an apartment may not do so without the prior written consent of Housing Services. Residents who do so may be charged for any cleaning, administrative, maintenance costs and/or rent losses accrued on account of their illegal occupancy. Residents will also be asked to return to their contracted location.

All transfer requests are subject to Contract Cancellation approval by Housing Services, a $50 liquidated damages charge, and any prescribed move-out charges.

CONTRACT CANCELLATIONS

Your Glen Mor Housing Contract is an academic year contract and you are financially responsible for the entire term of the contract unless a release is approved by Housing Services. Cancellation approval should never be assumed and simply vacating the property or returning keys will not constitute a cancellation of your contract or release from your contracted financial obligations.

If you plan to move out at any time prior to the legal end date of your Housng Contract in June, you must submit a Contract Cancellation Request form, which is available at your Resident Services Office or the Housing Services Building.
